The Fat Camels terms and conditions are set out below and apply in respect of all customers of The Fat Camel. If any T&C’s are included on the quote form/booking confirmation, and to the extent they conflict with these T&C’s, the T&C’s on the quote form/booking confirmation will take precedence.   1. Confirmation of bookings/deposit requirements:
    A Minimum deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking, 100% is required for catering only options. By agreeing with this condition your reservation will be confirmed and considered a definite booking. If this is not fulfilled, The Fat Camel reserves the right to cancel the booking without further correspondence and allocate the date to another customer.
  2. Payment:
    Must be received in full by direct debit no later than the last business day prior to the function or cash will be accepted on the function date prior to commencement of setup.

  3. Final guest numbers:
    Are required 7 days prior to the event. This number will then be regarded as the minimum number for catering and invoicing purposes.
  4. Cancellation/Transfer:
    In the event of a cancellation, any deposit paid will not be refunded unless that date is re-booked. If the date becomes re-booked the full deposit will be refunded. In the event of the function date being changed, an additional deposit is required to book the new date. Once another customer has filled the original booking, your deposit will then be refunded in full.
  5. Cancellation by The Fat Camel:
    The Fat Camel reserves the right to terminate this contract for any circumstances that may occur. In this instance, we will reimburse the customer with 100% of the money already paid.
  6. Traveling costs:
    Depending on location travelling costs may incur for cooking on site; Location is based 30km from Parramatta CBD N.S.W via Google maps.
  7. Surcharge:
    A 20% surcharge applies on public holidays and long weekends.
  8. Minimum Bookings:
    An additional charge of $200 will incur for less than the minimum booking.
  9. Service:
    For bookings greater than 50 people, additional staff may be required depending on the menu selection and style of function. Cost per wait staff is $40 p/h, min 4 hours.
  10. Drinks: Unlimited refers to 3 drinks per customer. Your choice of three of the mentioned soft drinks or two soft drinks and water.
  11. Damage and Liability:
    The Fat Camel will assume no responsibility for ANY damage or loss of any merchandise, equipment, furniture, clothing or other valuables prior to, during or after the event. I the customer will NOT bill, charge or sue The Fat Camel for any loss unless the damage or loss was caused by negligent actions or misconduct of The Fat Camel and its employees.
  12. The Fat Camels Liability:
    The Fat Camel’s only liability, for third party claims, will be for actions affected by The Fat Camel and/or the negligent conduct of its employees.
  13. Third Party Liability:
    The Fat Camel will accept no responsibility for the demeanour of guests, members and third parties hired to provide services.
  14. Insurance:
    The Fat Camel is fully compliant and insured both through Public and Products Liability to a sum of five million dollars.
  15. Unlawful Activities:
    If unlawful activities are occurring on the premises or breaches of the terms and conditions have been abused, The Fat Camel reserves the right to cancel the event, there will be no refund of any kind from The Fat Camel to the customer.
  16. Power/Council permission:
    The Fat Camel will require a standard electricity supply outlet at the event. The customer will be accountable for the provision and cost of electricity. If the event or function is to be held at a council owned property (i.e. park) then prior permission to access the grounds must be obtained by the customer from the local council 5 days prior to the event.
  17. Special Requests:
    The customer will be required to inform The Fat Camel of any food or other allergies suffered by any person or for which The Fat Camel is expected to cater, such information shall be in writing where indicated on the booking form or via email.
  18. Space Required:
    A minimum flat surface space of 4m x 4m is required for The Fat Camel at the event in order to set up equipment and provide food service. This may alter depending on the group size.
  19. General:
    The Fat Camel shall be entitled to take photographs and/or audio-visual footage of an event solely for promotional purposes in respect of The Fat Camels services. Photographs on promotional material are for illustrative purposes only, and subject to change. The customer will be required to inform The Fat Camel in writing or via email on the booking form if photographs are against beliefs, religion or extenuating circumstances.
  20. Per Person Entitlement:
    The amount of food stated in a package is solely a guide to the customer as to how much food will be served at the occasion. The Fat Camel assumes no responsibility for a customer who has consumed more than his per person entitlement. i.e: A customer books for 20 people a premium package, based on the amount stated per person, The Fat Camel will provide a total of 40 minced lamb sticks, 20 lamb sticks and 80 chicken drumettes/wings for the event.
  21. Copyright:
    The Fat Camel owns the copyright to any quotes, plans, menus, information and/or materials created by The Fat Camel with admiration to any event.

The Fat Camel reserves the right to change their prices at any time without further notice.
